CDC Mutual Aid
The CDC Mutual Aid Network was established in early 2025 by members of the CDC community in direct response to the sudden and widespread layoffs at the CDC. The Network continues to support CDC staff who have lost their income through the CDC Mutual Aid Fund, which provides direct payments to help cover housing, groceries, and other expenses. The CDC Alumni and Friends network is a coalition of prior CDC staff and allies advocating for public health programs, agencies, and workforce.
